About Me
My Background
I was blessed to illustrate children's books for 48 years. I am retired now, but here are a few of my illustrations. They come from over 155 books. I also illustrated stamps, puzzles and textbooks. It was a wonderful time, doing what I loved. Hope you enjoy!
My Medium
I use mixed media - Luma liquid watercolors, colored pencil, ink and acrylic.
My Inspiration
In my early work years, I illustrated a lot of undersea life: whales, sharks etc.
My favorite subjects are bible and historical. The research is fascinating and has left me at 73 years old, with a brain full of miscellaneous knowledge. I'm always surprised when watching a National Geographic film, I see a strange animal and I instantly know what it is!
